Lots of attractive, mature grass seed-heads around at the moment which glow in the afternoon sun.  I guess the council mowers will catch up with them soon.

art in the rain

It’s been cold and wet in Canberra the last couple of days – so the obvious thing to do was to get out and about!  I’ve been staying with a friend in Cook, so went for a walk up nearby Mt. Painter.  Came across an area where tussocks of grass had been up rooted and left scattered about – could there be a wombat about? Something else?  Fairly sure it wasn’t human activity.  Anyway, as some cold rain started to blow in off the mountains, I made a funny grass man.
